So what I've been up to! Mostly got back to swimming and feeling better about it, working on getting in more butterfly in because I'm needing work in that stroke.

- SO I SAW AVENGERS OPENING NIGHT. I rainbowed all over and I'm not even a big Avengers fan (I'm way more into Spider-man). Really loved the action sequences and the humor as kinda adorable. It was a fun movie and I'm probably going to get my dad to watch it next week if possible, although it means we'll need to marathon him through Iron Man 1-2, Thor, and Captain America. 8D

- THAT SPIDER-MAN TRAILER. Like I'm looking forward to Garfield as Peter Parker, but I also would love dearly to see Spidey in Avengers 2 or the Marvel movieverse. Sony >:( I  jizzed over Plurk already over all things Spidey though. I tried to give that new Ultimate Spider-man cartoon a try, but it's just...not my thing. I preferred Spectacular Spider-man's humor and action sequences, Ultimate Spider-man is a step back.

- Been playing more Lord of the Rings online. I'm currently splitting my time between my Elf archer, my Hobbit burglar, and my Gondorian Man champion. :)

- LEGEND OF KORRA. SO THAT FIFTH EPISODE IS OUT. I NEED TO WATCH IT.

What. At the news about the initial room block selling out in one hour of the notice. KINDA TAKEN ABACK. That's incredible, is it because general growth of the convention or people anticipating the 50th anniversary? I'm not sure yet if I'm going to Gally 2013 or not, but wow.

Not sure if anyone knows about these, but I figure it can't hurt to ask on Livejournal and Plurk. Basically I was looking at MP3 players you can listen to underwater while lap swimming, preferably long-distance allowing at least for free-style and breast-stroke, and I was wondering does anyone has experience or knows about Finis SwiMP3? The reviews seem mostly positive but there's enough low rating reviews to give me pause, as well as multiple saying the customer service is non-existent and doesn't reply to phone calls or emails. :|a

Back from Gallifrey. Actually got in Day 3 of swimming to boot and chilling on the couch catching up on Plurk and internet things. HI GUYS.

- So I caved and got a gym membership. I felt the price I got was fair and more importantly, they have a LAP POOL YAY. Sunday I swam for the first time in two years, for about over two hours. I wasn't as bad off as I thought I was - I could still do my long-distance but I need to build up muscle to actually go faster. I feel like since I have such a sedentary job that it's important to get out and move - but since I really hate exercising on land (hate the impact on my legs with running/jogging), swimming is like Totally My Thing. :) The only problem is with swimming it's so specific on finding a pool with lanes and also one that's open at more reasonable hours than maybe three hours, scattered, a day. I figure the gym membership money is better than blowing it on World of Warcraft since I was barely using it at the end anyway.

- Started replaying Final Fantasy X. I know it's not considered the best FF game, but it's one of the few I've beaten and I'd been given it as a gift around when it came out when things were kind of rough, so the game kind of has a special place for me. Although HOLY DAMN I forgot how balls out nuts it is to try to get the Celestial Weapons :( Also I'm finding myself more receptive to Tidus (his voice is squeaky at times but it's not THAT bad) and Auron is more bro than I remember. The fact that the game is very linear in the map and story doesn't bother me because I'm lazy, so I like getting shuttled from Point A to Point B, and I've rediscovered how much I kick ass at blitzball in there.

- Gally's around the corner. Trying to keep track of it because I need to count in the fact I have roll-over into the next day 'cause of work. I think maybe I should do tail coat Eleven first day, regular one next day and Jamie last.

- I still need to icon Sherlock 1x03 and 2x01. I am le slowpoke. :(

- So I'm kinda getting stupidly decent at Just Dance 2, or mostly Rasputin :|. I almost got 10k on it just doing it for shits and giggles, but what can I say, I like the really goofy dances. Pretty much the only dances I can do are Hey Ya and Rasputin - the others I'm laughably bad at (shut up), but I kind of want to learn how to do Move Your Feet. Damn you New Years Party, you CREATED A BEAST HERE WHAT IS THIS. Seriously, if they played this at conventions, I'd probably be shut in the room just flailing around like the Michigan J Frog. I really love it as a party game though, I've been playing with my twin and it's balls-out FUN. Also, I got to watch her play Skyward Sword and nearly nail herself in the face with the Wiimote (good going genius) and freak out at some of the boss fights. :P
